At The Juice Brothers, we care about our partnerships with growers and fruit suppliers and that’s why we developed a unique program called Orchard Pride.
Orchard Pride is a grower sustainability program designed to assist our growers in being more sustainable now and in the future in all aspects of their orchard business from business management and environment practices, to orchard safety, wellbeing and employment and labour-hire management.
Quality fruit management is a key component in the sustainable management of orchards. Maintaining an orchard and the crop to the highest quality standard not only maximises profitability, but also sets the orchard up for longevity and viability for the future.
We pride ourselves on the quality of fruit that goes into our much-loved brand and it’s important that quality systems are incorporated into the orchard to provide the best quality fruit for our consumers.

Environmental Management encompasses a range of important farm management areas as we strive to ensure that our juice is not only high quality nutritionally but produced from orchards using sustainable practices.
Fully understanding the financial position of the business is one of the keys to business success. While we do not provide personal financial advice, what we have produced for this assessment tool are key performance indicator measurements and financial tools to assist our grower partners to identify management strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats to the business.

Lion Dairy & Drinks partners with Landcare Australia to offer our grower partners Lion Orchard Pride Landcare Australia Grants, that support grower productivity and profitability while improving orchard sustainability. The Program provides our grower partners with the tools and resources to address some of the ongoing environmental challenges in the industry.
We're proud of the partnerships we have with over 80 orange growers, many of whom have been supplying us oranges for generations, and are committed to working collaboratively to ensure we create the most delicious juices possible.
There is a strong link between a sustainable business and the sheer fact of being happy and healthy, not only growers and their family, but also their orchard team. Being involved in the local community and stepping away from the orchard to be involved in activities that they enjoy is an important aspect to maintain a sense of wellbeing. It is also extremely important to take the time to incorporate effective labour management and orchard safety techniques.
We offer a comprehensive and confidential Lion Orchard Pride Grower Personal Support Program designed to assist our grower partners in meeting the challenges and demands of work and personal life. The Grower Support Program is a professional counselling service that offers confidential support to our growers and their families for a variety of work-related and personal problems from stress to mental health and relationship issues.
Our Orchard Pride Program offers our orange supply partners a unique way to measure, evaluate and improve key areas of sustainability. The program includes a website with tools and resources, and an easy to use online self-assessment tool. It also assists our grower partners to build action plans to improve on areas requiring higher sustainability practices.
